About Kerry
Kerry Simon is the founder and President of Keep Pointing Up (KPU), a men's ministry based in Lafayette, Louisiana. By trade, Kerry is a professional land surveyor — a career that shaped the same eye for true north he now brings to leading men.
Kerry's leadership is rooted in vulnerability, authenticity, and faith-centered discipleship. Under his direction, KPU has grown a set of hands-on initiatives built to walk alongside men where they actually are: Crews (small accountability groups), Men's Nights, and partnerships with churches and ministries across the region.
“If you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead.” — Kerry Simon
The Book
Keep Pointing Up: From Rock Bottom to Redemption
Kerry's memoir traces his journey through addiction and brokenness toward redemption — a road that included a liver transplant and a complete rebuilding of his life. It's a story about surrender as the catalyst for real change, the brotherhood and community that make healing possible, and how private integrity quietly builds public character.
Every proceed from the book funds the work of Keep Pointing Up.
“Rock bottom isn't the end of your story. Sometimes it's where God begins rebuilding your life.” — Kerry Simon
